Recently read the book 'Who Moved My Cheese'. Hey, DON'T LAUGH! You jolly well know I don't have that habit of reading and I hate reading! That explains my grade for my GP =) Hey, but I'm trying to improve on it already okay... And that's why someone bought me Reader's Digest and books to up my level of reading and GP. That's so sweet... BIG KISS YEAH? MUAKZ!
Well, going back to the story. (I'm sure quite a lot of you have read the book by now) I think I'm kinda like Hem who starts to get too comfy in my own comfortable zone when I'm more or less settled down, maybe like now. But maybe when the time comes for a change, most of the time I'll be either of the mice who starts sniffing and scurring my way thru' before changes arrive or even when I'm faced with the unevitable changes. I don't think I'll be so dumb to stay and starve like Hem. If I'm stuck in their situation, I will most likely be like Haw who starts looking for NEW CHEESE! =) And I guessed Haw made a very good point. Guess we should start putting down all our worries and overcome our fear of failing. Well, thinking about it, I thought of one good example I have to share. I've never failed any tests and exams in my life since young. Only when I reached secondary school then did that happened. I certainly did not deal with the situation stupidly of coz. Well, I remembered I moved on after failing that darn HISTORY (my most hated subject in Sec 2) TEST! I put in more hard work and it did paid off. Hey, I topped the whole level in History in Sec 2 k *proud* LOL!~
Well, back to the issue on moving on with changes. The same person that bought me this book posted my questions after questions after I told him I'm finished with the book and there I was stumbled. I didn't know how to answer those questions at that time and even up till now. (I'm just pure dumb can?) One of the questions was that "since there're constant changes, so how do I keep up with it?" Well, I thought the best way was to keep on upgrading ourselves or adapt to whatever changes that comes along. Then there came another question, "Won't it be too much if the changes keep on coming? Won't we be asking more and more and even more with the changes coming?" Well, I thought that that would be, of cos, inevitable. Look at the constant changes around us. For example, when I made a visit to ViVo today, there're just so many new things up and coming. Take the Sentosa Express I mentioned yesterday. Is that really necessary? Well, no doubt it promotes convenience and accessibility to the beloved island but with all these hi-tech new infrastructure coming our way, won't we be asking for more and more? I guess people these days are getting more and more pampered and thus, asking for even more is like an inevitable consequence. But I feel that sometimes, just sometimes, we should just sit down and think about the stuff revolving around us and be contented with what we have. If not, with all the constant changes and us trying to adapt to all of them, what's the meaning of our lives? If we have to constantly keep up with each and every of the changes around, wouldn't that be extremely tiring?
So I guess my best suggestion for now is that as we're constantly trying to adapt to the changes that comes along our way, it's always good to not forget to be happya nd contented with what we have around us that make us ourselves. Especially treasure your beloved ones around you.
For me, I usually tend to take the people around me for granted, even my best friends, beloveds and my family. Until someone comes along the way and remind me about that then I'll remember that hey, ain't I being too much and taking them for granted? I'm a human being too and being a part of the new generation of teens, I'll get selfish most of the time. So I guess it's time I start reflecting on myself. Well, guess that's part and parcel of life and as the saying goes, nobody's perfect =) We can only try to be better people =)
Phew, I'm like deviating so much la. Guess I'll end here. If not, this is gonna be never ending la. This post is so GP-ish. Ew. Can't stand it. Oh well, I do have an intellectual side of me too okay *grins widely* =)

Went to see my lil' juniors back at GESS Dance today and am glad to see that at least they're finally having decent people and decent practices over there.
